Reference Checks:

One of the most under-estimated functions in recruiting is the reference check. A good reference check is in fact most important as no one can describe better how a person operates in an employment situation than a former supervisor or boss. We have learned that a proper reference check can bring to light potential red flags with a potential hire - even from a person who is trying their best to give a positive reference. Of course the opposite is true as well.
